conflict
There was a time that I had a conflict and it was just last week. We had a substitute for our English IV class. We watched a movie called Hamlet. All of the class layed on the floor. Our sub accused us of not listening to her and sleeping on the floor. We all payed attention to the movie but she claims that she told us three different times to be quiet. She never told us anything. She would barely talk to us at all. The students that got introuble were Catherine, Shelby, Jacob, Jacob, Shelby, and I. Once the movie was over we were given a handout when Shelby and Mrs. R(the sub) got into it. Mrs. R said that she was rude and disrespectful. I'm not sure where this problem started out but it ended up being a huge mess. I was mad because I was getting introuble for something that didn't even happen. I get really upset when I'm accused of wrongdoings. In order to fix the conflict, we all had a meeting with our principal, Ms. Madson, and also our English teacher, Mr. Lintvedt. We discussed the matter and resolved the problem. I was satisfied with the outcome. For our punishment we were going to have to serve a detention but instead of that we had to write a letter to Mrs. R. She was satisfied with the punishment too. I learned that you never know what is going to happen so just keep a good head on your shoulders and make sure that you aren't doing anything wrong. Also to be extra careful around subs because they could have a different style of teaching than what you are use to.
